Carrier Strategy

• Build an affordable, TACAIR sea-based platform for the 21st Century that maintains the core capabilities of Naval Aviation.

• Develop CVN 77 as a transition carrier by investing in LCC reduction technologies and warfighting enhancements that all forward fit to future CVXs, with opportunities for backfit to NIMITZ class.

• Design and build CVX which leverages technologies to reduce LCC, enhance warfighting capabilities, and enable progression to the revolutionary 21st Century carrier design.
