CONTROL STATION CONCEPTUAL ELEMENTS - Continued

The control station will incorporated a simulation function that can use the aircraft as a “hot bench” for simulation and aircraft check out. This is envisioned as being an umbilical to the aircraft. This of course, drives some requirements on the aircraft. It was also assumed that engine start and pre-flight would occur from a wired remote panel rather than from the control station. This panel also allows ground ops and maintenance of the aircraft without the control station.
