SLIDE 12: Mission Area Deficiencies: From the mission area assessment we get needs. From the mission needs analysis, we get the deficiencies. The needs are the sum total of the mission tasks and functions necessary to do the job. The deficiencies are where our capabilities to not cover the needs sufficiently.
