MK 21 Launcher
The Navy's RIM-7M Sea Sparrow, found aboard many US and NATO surface warships including aircraft carriers, amphibious assault ships, other surface combatants. It is fired from the MK 21 launch system. On Aegis ships, the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) will be launched from the MK 41 Vertical Launch System, requiring a thrust vector control system on the ESSM rocket.
