The XM1091 Fuel/Water Tanker is designed to transport fuel or water to support the soldiers on the battlefield. The M1091 is constructed of stainless steel with internal baffles and can transport 1500 gallons. It is a self contained unit, housing the pump and control module, hoses, reels and dispensing nozzles, metering instruments, fuel level indicator, filters, and a sampling probe used with the aqua-glow water sampling kit. The pump can dispense 20 -100 gallons per minute with deadman controller that halts dispensing to prevent accidental spillage. The vehicle is still in the developmental phase.
