AN/ALT-16 Transmitter

The AN/ALT-16 is utilized with AN/ALQ-122 as an Electronic Countermeasures Set (ECM) on the B-52H to counter early warning and acquisition radar's. The AN/ALT-16A transmitter is used to linearly amplify the ALQ-122 generated jamming signals.
