This is the final FORSCOM AH-64D Apache Longbow Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP). It was completed 30 November 1997 by the Logistics Management Division of the Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH) Project Manager’s Office (PMO). The Air to Ground Missile System (AGMS) PMO incorporated the Longbow HELLFIRE Modular Missile System (LBHMMS) MFP; it was originally Appendix N to the First Draft. Information from the LBHMMS MFP is incorporated throughout the AH-64D MFP where appropriate. All information in this document is subject to change based on funding, schedule changes, world situations, and other external factors. Information is considered current as of the publishing date. |

P.4 MFP Purpose |
This plan provides guidance for Program Executive Officer (PEO) Aviation (AV), US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), and PEO Tactical Missiles in planning for logistics support of the AH-64D Apache Longbow and Longbow HELLFIRE Modular Missile System (LBHMMS) during fielding to US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) units. This MFP does not cover FORSCOM units assigned to the Army Reserve or Army National Guard. Should significant additional information become available after publication of the Final MFP, a change will be published and distributed in the same manner as this MFP. Periodic updates are expected. |

Part 1 is the schedule working to contract award; Part 2 is the schedule between contract award working to First Unit Equipped (FUE). As of the date of publishing, FUE is the 1st Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, scheduled for fielding in July 1998. If FUE is further redefined, these dates will change accordingly.
