On both coasts ships are required to demonstrate a Total Ship Survivability Exercise (TSS). There is no underway day associated with CART II.

Live firing events do not occur in CART II.

Demonstration of a TSSE by the ships Integrated Training Team (ITT) is mandatory both coasts.
