(2) PROVIDES COMBAT SERVICE SUPPORT MANAGEMENT INFORMATION AND ADVICE TO THE DIVISION COMMANDER AND HIS STAFF. (3) PLANS AND CONTROLS THE USE OF AIR AND SURFACE TRANSPORT ASSETS SPECIFICALLY ALLOCATED OR ATTACHED FOR LOGISTICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE MISSIONS. (4) PROVIDES LOGISTICS SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT AND SOFTWARE SUPPORT FOR AUTOMATED LOGISTICS FUNCTIONS/SYSTEMS. (5) PLANS AND CONDUCTS BASE AND BASE CLUSTER SELF-DEFENSE.
