AT LEVEL 1, THIS UNIT PROVIDES: (1) MULTIDISIPLINE INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION, ELECTRONIC WARFARE, AND COUNTERINTELLIGENCE SUPPORT, TO INCLUDE SIGNALS INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION AND DIRECTION FINDING, INTERROGATION OF PRISONERS OF WAR, LONG RANGE SURVEILLANCE BY HUMAN INTELLIGENCE (HUMINT) ASSETS AND IMAGERY INTELLIGENCE. (2) A SINGLE INTELLIGENCE COMMANDER RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL CONTROL OF INTELLIGENCE ASSETS ORGANIC OR ATTACHED TO THE DIVISION. (3) INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION MANAGEMENT, SINGLE SOURCE PROCESSING, ALL SOURCE PRODUCTION, AND DISSEMINATION FOR THE DIVISION. (4) INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT TO MANEUVER BRIGADES. (5) LONG-RANGE RECONNAISSANCE AND SURVEILLANCE FOR THE COLLECTION OF HUMAN INTELLIGENCE IN SUPPORT OF THE DIVISION. B. THIS UNIT PROVIDES MAINTENANCE ON ORGANIC EQUIPMENT IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: (1) UNIT MAINTENANCE ON ALL EQUIPMENT. (2) DIRECT SUPPORT MAINTENANCE ON INTELLIGENCE AND ELECTRONIC WARFARE (IEW), COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY (COMSEC) AND CONTROLLED CRYPTOGRAPHIC ITEMS (CCI), AND COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRONIC (C-E) EQUIPMENT FOR ASSIGNED UNITS AND FOR THE IEW EQUIPMENT IN THE CEWI PLATOON, TOE 01108A000, OF THE COMMAND AVIATION COMPANY. C. THE COLUMS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE FOR REDUCED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10% FROM 100% AT LEVEL ONE TO APPROXIMATELY 90% AT LEVEL TWO AND APPROXIMATELY 80% AT LEVEL THREE. D. THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO TYPE B ORGANIZATION. E. THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVEL 1 THROUGH 3 ARE DESIGNED TO RELATE TO THE CATEGORIES ESTABLISHED IN AR 220-1, UNIT STATUS REPORTING. F. INDIVIDUALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION, EXCEPT CHAPLAIN, CAN ASSIST IN THE COORDINATED DEFENSE OF THE UNIT'S AREA OR INSTALLATION. G. THIS UNIT IS DEPENDENT UPON: (1) APPROPRIATE ELEMENTS OF THE DIVISION OR CORPS FOR MEDICAL, LEGAL, FINANCE, PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES, MAINTENANCE BEYOND THE UNIT'S CAPABILITIES, SUPPLEMENTAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, AND COORDINATION FOR SUPPORT FROM OTHER U.S. OR ALLIED FORCES.
