b. Purpose and authority for the preparation and revisions
of Table(s) of Organization and Equipment (TOE).
(1) This BTOE was developed replace parts of a higlly
modified TOE 34418A100 for GUARDRAIL Common Sensor (GR/CS)
System 3 (Three).
(2) This version of the TOE has been prepared in accordance
with the provisions of current TOE development regulations and
guidance.
(3) All equipment readiness codes (ERCs) in this TOE
have been reviewed to ensure strict compliance with criteria in
AR 220-1, Unit Status Reporting. They have been reviewed to
ensure they are aligned at the paragraph level of detail.
(4) The unit MARC Code is 23A. The unit is a combat
support unit that operates in the Theater Army area and does not
normally move after deployment. It is considered a type
II Unit.
2. EMPLOYMENT. Personnel in this TOE are employed either in
Special Iintelligence Processing Facilities in the vacinity of
the airfield from which the GUARDRAiL Common Sensor RC-12G
aircraft operate, or in a secure TROJAN facility with the proper
software and hardware.
3. METHODS OF OPERATIONS AND FUNCTIONS.
PARAGRAPH 01, MI COMPANY HEADQUARTERS, GR/CS.
(1) Functions. Performs ground based collection,
processing and reporting of all SIGINT tasked to the GR/CS
System 3 (Three). May be split based between the location
of TOE 32538AA00 and TOE 32702A100
(2) Personnel requirements not covered by regulatory
guidance: One additonal Analyst / Operator MOS 98C, 98G and
98J have been added to this TOE above the basic MARC for the
purpose of assuring continuous manning of a position requireing
the above MOS in case of serious illness during the shift, and
to provide for relief for human sanitary needs. The same
rationalle has been used in the approved TOE documents for
GUARDRAIL Common Sensor System 1 (34418A100).
(3) Major equipment requirements: Documented in
TOE 32538AB00.
