   1.  MISSION.  TO DESTROY, NEUTRALIZE OR SUPPRESS THE ENEMY
   WITH CONVENTIONAL CANNON FIRE.

   2.  ASSIGNMENT.  ORGANIC TO A FIELD ARTILLERY BATTALION,
   105MM TOWED, AIR ASSAULT DIVISION, TOE 06705L.

   3.  CAPABILITIES.

       A.  AT LEVEL 1, THIS UNIT DELIVERS CONVENTIONAL
   CANNON FIRES.

       B.  THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE
   FOR REDUCED SUSTAINMENT CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10%,
   FROM APPROXIMATELY 90% FOR LEVEL 2 TO APPROXIMATELY 80%
   FOR LEVEL 3.

       C.  THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO A TYPE B
   ORGANIZATION.

       D.  THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVELS 1 THROUGH 3 ARE
   DESIGNED TO BE USED TO CALCULATE THE CATEGORIES
   ESTABLISHED BY AR 220-1, UNIT STATUS REPORTING.

       E.  INDIVIDUALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION CAN ASSIST IN THE
   COORDINATED DEFENSE OF THE UNIT'S AREA OR INSTALLATION.

       F.  THIS UNIT IS DEPENDENT UPON:

   5.  CATEGORY.  THIS UNIT IS DESIGNATED AS A CATEGORY I

   6.  MOBILITY.

       A.  THIS UNIT IS CAPABLE OF TRANSPORTING 101,000
   POUNDS (3,614.0 CUBIC FEET) OF TOE EQUIPMENT WITH ORGANIC
   VEHICLES.

       B.  THIS UNIT HAS 13,808 POUNDS (1,270.0 CUBIC FEET)
   OF TOE EQUIPMENT REQUIRING TRANSPORTATION.

       C.  THIS UNIT REQUIRES 100% OF ITS TOE EQUIPMENT AND
   SUPPLIES TO BE TRANSPORTED IN A SINGLE LIFT USING ITS

1.  GENERAL.


    a.  References.

    b.  Purpose and authority for the preparation and
revision of Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE).

        (1)  Cyclic review in accordance with AR 71-32.

        (2)  This revision incorporates concept changes,
applies updated MARC, OPFAC and applies incremental TOE development
procedures.

        (3)  This version of the TOE has been prepared in
accordance with the provisions of current TOE development
regulations and guidance.

        (4)  All equipment readiness codes (ERCs) in this TOE have
been reviewed to ensure strict compliance with criteria in AR 220-1,
Unit Status Reporting.

        (5)  The unit MARC Code is 11A.  This is a combat unit that
operates in the division area.  It is mobile and moves frequently
(more often than once a day).

2.  EMPLOYMENT.

    a.  The Field Artillery Battery operates as a tactical
unit.  The battery will be positioned for the most effective response
to supported maneuver units, commensurate with the terrain, combat
mission and responsiveness to the higher headquarters.

    b.  This unit is dependent on the headquarters and service
battery of the battalion for unit maintenance of its communication-
electronics and power generator equipment, unit administration and
unit-level combat health services, scheduled and back-up unit
maintenance on organic vehicles, power generation equipment and
weapons systems, POL requirements, food service support, survey
control, and religious services support.

3.  METHODS OF OPERATIONS AND FUNCTIONS.

for battery operations.
