3.  CAPABILITIES.

    A.  AT LEVEL 1, THIS UNIT PROVIDES:

        (1)  PLANNING, SUPERVISION, COORDINATION, AND CONTROL
FOR FIELD ARTILLERY UNITS NOT ASSIGNED OR ATTACHED TO
SUBORDINATE ELEMENTS OF THE CORPS.

        (2)  THE CORPS ARTILLERY MAIN, TACTICAL, AND REAR
COMMAND POSTS.

        (3)  LIAISON TEAMS TO SUPPORTED OR REINFORCED UNITS.

        (4)  FOOD SERVICE SUPPORT FOR ASSIGNED AND ATTACHED
PERSONNEL.

        (5)  TECHNICAL SUPERVISION FOR UNIT MAINTENANCE
OPERATIONS, UNIT ADMINISTRATION, FOOD SERVICE ACTIVITIES, AND
TACTICAL SUPPORT OPERATIONS FOR SUBORDINATE/ATTACHED UNITS.

    B.  THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE FOR
REDUCED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10%, FROM
APPROXIMATELY 90% FOR LEVEL 2 TO APPROXIMATELY 80% FOR LEVEL
3.

    C.  THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO A TYPE B ORGANIZATION.

    A.  THIS UNIT IS CAPABLE OF TRANSPORTING 210,100 POUNDS
(17,609 CUBIC FEET) OF TOE EQUIPMENT WITH ORGANIC VEHICLES.

    B.  THIS UNIT HAS 99,777 POUNDS (8,872 CUBIC FEET) OF TOE
EQUIPMENT REQUIRING TRANSPORTATION.

    C.  THIS UNIT REQUIRES 100 PERCENT OF ITS TOE EQUIPMENT
AND SUPPLIES TO BE TRANSPORTED IN A SINGLE LIFT USING ITS

was conducted to ensure that the TOE reflects the latest approved
doctrine and to validate the requirements for personnel and

Corps Artillery Headquarters to support the headquarters staff
functions of command and control, and the supervision of
operating elements.

corps for legal, finance and personnel and administrative support.
