1.  MISSION.  TO DESTROY, NEUTRALIZE, OR SUPPRESS THE ENEMY
BY CANNON FIRE.

2.  ASSIGNMENT.  ORGANIC TO A FIELD ARTILLERY BATTALION,
155MM SELF-PROPELLED, TOE 06365F.

3.  CAPABILITIES.

    A.  AT LEVEL 1, THIS UNIT PROVIDES ACCURATE, TIMELY, AND
CONTINUOUS CANNON FIRES.

    B.  THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE FOR
REDUCED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10%, FROM
APPROXIMATELY 90% FOR LEVEL 2 TO APPROXIMATELY 80% FOR LEVEL
3.

    C.  THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO A TYPE B ORGANIZATION.

    D.  THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVELS 1 THROUGH 3 ARE
DESIGNED TO RELATE TO THE CATEGORIES ESTABLISHED BY AR 220-1,
UNIT STATUS REPORTING.

    E.  INDIVIDUALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION CAN ASSIST IN THE
COORDINATED DEFENSE OF THE UNIT'S AREA OR INSTALLATION.

    F.  THIS UNIT IS DEPENDENT ON:

        (1)  APPROPRIATE ELEMENTS OF DIVISION OR CORPS FOR
LEGAL, FINANCE, PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES, AND
BAACKUP MEDICAL EVACUATION.

        (2)  HEADQUARTERS AND SERVICE BATTERY, FIELD
ARTILLERY BATTALION, 155MM SELF-PROPELLED, TOE 06366F FOR
RELIGIOUS, COMBAT HEALTH SUPPORT, SURVEY CONTROL,
MAINTENANCE ON COMMUNICATIONS-ELECTRONICS (C-E) EQUIPMENT,
AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.

4.  BASIS OF ALLOCATION.  THREE PER FIELD ARTILLERY BATTALION,
155MM, SELF-PROPELLED, TOE 06365F.

5.  CATEGORY.  THIS UNIT IS DESIGNATED A CATEGORY I UNIT.

6.  MOBILITY.

    A.  THIS UNIT IS CAPABLE OF TRANSPORTING 260,400 POUNDS
(9,701.0 CUBIC FEET) OF TOE EQUIPMENT WITH ORGANIC VEHICLES.

    B.  THIS UNIT HAS 37,745 POUNDS (5,772.0 CUBIC FEET) OF
TOE EQUIPMENT REQUIRING TRANSPORTATION.

    C.  THIS UNIT REQUIRES 100 PERCENT OF ITS TOE EQUIPMENT
AND SUPPLIES TO BE TRANSPORTED IN A SINGLE LIFT USING ITS

        1.  GENERAL.

            a.  References.

            b.  Purpose and authority for the preparation and
        revisions of Table(s) of Organization and Equipment (TOE).

            (1)  New TOE.

            (2)  This TOE was developed in support of the FORCE XXI
        concept.  It incorporates concept changes, updated MARC,
        current and requested OPFAC rules and applies the
        appropriate incremental change packages (ICP's).

            (3)  This TOE was prepared in accordance with the
        provisions of current TOE development regulations and
        guidance.

            (4)  All equipment readiness codes (ERCs) in this TOE
        have been reviewed to ensure strict compliance with criteria
        in AR 220-1, Unit Status Reporting.

            (5)  The unit MARC Code is 11A.  This is a combat unit
        that operates forward of the division area and moves
        frequently.


2.  EMPLOYMENT.

            a.  The mission of the Field Artillery Battery is to
        destroy, neutralize and suppress the enemy with
        conventional cannon fires.

            b.  The battery operates as two tactical units, the two
        firing platoons, with a battery trains.  The two firing
        platoons will be positioned for the most effective fire
        support response, commensurate with factors of METT, to
        support the maneuver units and respond to higher
        headquarters.

            d.  This unit is dependent on:

            1)  The headquarters and service battery of the
        battalion (TOE 06366F) for religious, combat health support,
        survey control, scheduled services and back-up unit
        maintenance on vehicles, maintenance of the communications-
        electronics equipment and unit administration.

        3.  METHODS OF OPERATIONS AND FUNCTIONS.

            a.  PARAGRAPH 01, Battery Headquarters.

            (1)  Functions.  The function of the battery
        headquarters is to provide command and control for all
        elements of the battery.
