(2) FIRE SUPPORT ELEMENTS (FSE) TO THE DIVISION'S TACTICAL AND MAIN COMMAND POSTS. (3) TARGET LOCATION BY MEANS OF AIR OBSERVATION AND ARTILLERY AND MORTAR LOCATING RADAR. (4) FSE AND FIRE SUPPORT TEAMS (FIST) TO DESIGNATED MANEUVER AND AVIATION ELEMENTS OF THE DIVISION AND LIAISON SECTIONS AS REQUIRED. (5) SURVEY CONTROL FOR THE DIVISION. (6) METEOROLOGICAL DATA FOR: (A) ORGANIC AND ATTACHED FIELD ARTILLERY UNITS. (B) DIVISIONAL UNITS FOR FALLOUT PREDICTION. (C) U.S. AIR FORCE AIR WEATHER SERVICE. B. THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE FOR REDUCED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES IN DECREMENTS OF 10%, FROM APPROXIMATELY 90% FOR LEVEL 2 TO APPROXIMATELY 80% FOR LEVEL 3. C. THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO A TYPE B ORGANIZATION. D. THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVELS 1 THROUGH 3 ARE DESIGNED TO RELATE TO THE CATEGORIES ESTABLISHED BY AR 220-1, UNIT STATUS REPORTING. E. THE AUTHORIZATIONS OF BRIGADE AND BATTALION FSE AND FIST MAY REQUIREIRE MODIFICATION BY THE MTOE PROPONENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH AR 310-49 DEPENDING UPON THE TYPE AND MIX OF MANEUVER ELEMENTS ORGANIC TO THE PARENT UNIT. F. INDIVIDUALS OF THIS ORGANIZATION, EXCEPT MEDICAL PERSONNEL AN THE CHAPLAINS, CAN ASSIST IN THE COORDINATED DEFENSE OF THE UNIT'S AREA OR INSTALLATION. G. THIS UNIT PERFORMS UNIT MAINTENANCE ON ALL ORGANIC EQUIPMENT EXCEPT COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY (COMSEC) EQUIPMENT. H.
