ASSIGNMENT. ORGANIC TO THE LIGHT INFANTRY DIVISION, TOE 77000A. 3. CAPABILITIES. A. AT LEVEL I THIS UNIT PROVIDES: (1) CONVENTIONAL FIELD ARTILLERY CANNON FIRES IN SUPPORT OF UNITS OF THE DIVISION. (2) COMMAND, CONTROL AND SUPERVISION OF ORGANIC AND ATTACHED FIELD ARTILLERY UNITS. (3) FIRE SUPPORT ELEMENTS TO THE MANEUVER UNITS OF THE DIVISION, AVIATION BRIGADE, RECONNAISSANCE SQUADRON, AND ATTACK HELICOPTER BATTALION AND LIAISON ELEMENTS AS REQUIRED. (4) TARGET LOCATIONS USING VISUAL OBSERVATION AND WEAPONS LOCATING RADARS. (5) METEOROLOGICAL DATA TO: (A) ATTACHED UNITS (B) DIVISIONAL UNITS FOR FALLOUT PREDICTION (C) U.S. AIR FORCE WEATHER SERVICE B. THE COLUMNS UNDER LEVELS 2 AND 3 ADAPT THIS TABLE FOR REDUCED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY IN DECREMENTS OF 10 PERCENT, FROM APPROXIMATELY 90 PERCENT FOR LEVEL 2 TO APPROXIMATELY 80 PERCENT FOR LEVEL 3. C. THIS UNIT IS NOT ADAPTABLE TO A TYPE B ORGANIZATION. D. THE COLUMNS DESIGNATED BY LEVELS 1 THROUGH 3 ARE DESIGNED TO RELATE TO THE CATEGORIES ESTABLISHED IN AR 220-1, UNIT STATUS REPORTING. E. INDIVIDUALS IN THIS ORGANIZATION, EXCEPT CHAPLAINS AND MEDICAL PERSONNEL, CAN ASSIST IN THE COORDINATED DEFENSE OF THE UNIT'S AREA OR INSTALLATION. F. THIS UNIT IS DEPENDENT UPON APPROPRIATE ELEMENTS OF THE DIVISION OR CORPS FOR RELIGIOUS, LEGAL, COMBAT HEALTH SUPPORT, FINANCE, AND PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES. 4. BASIS OF ALLOCATION.
